The stone lanterns called Yukimi-gata are very popular in China and Japan. They are often seen in the gardens by ponds, but they are also valued as snow lanterns. The broad roof of this one-storey pagoda offers enough space for a white bonnet. From spring to autumn, on the other hand, it spreads an enchanting shimmer with a small tea light.
