This imposing, 84 centimeter high stone lantern is a so-called Tachi-Gata. Such pedestal lanterns are a magnificent eye-catcher in Asian-inspired gardens. The ornate stone lantern consists of five parts: the base, the trunk, the middle part, the hearth and the shade. The Tachi-Gata emits mysterious light at dusk and in the evening.
