Adorned as a solitaire or statue pedestal
The Olympieion in Athens, known as the Temple of Olympian Zeus, is supported by 17 meter high Corinthian columns. Instead of the originally planned Doric columns, Corinthian columns were erected, 15 of which are still standing today. She is commemorated by this 64 centimeter high column, which is an ornament both as a solitaire and with a statue or a flower pot.
